History

An area of Rajasthan is known as Shekhawati. The emperor of Amer Udaikaran’s grandsonwas Mokal Ji. Mokal Ji’s one was was Shekha who established seprate state which is, after his name is known as Shekhawati. Jhunjhunu is a famous district situated in the Shekhawati region. Bagar is situated in the east of Jhunjhunu. Bagar is 14 Kms. away of the district headquarter. It is Written in Kayam Khan Raso that Mobat Khan Kayam Khani come to Bagar and lived here. It was about 1446 A.D. Thus it is proved that bagar had been established before Mobat Khan Kayam Khani.

According to the evidence of history Shardul Singh Shekhawat took Bagar and Narhad from Pathan in 1731 A.D. After wards Joraver singh is son Maha singh got Bagar.

Bagar has an important place in education after Pilani. Piramal Mabharias, Maheshwaries, Rungtas & Patwari’s helped Bagar to be famous in education.
